Recommended as a hypoallergenic, primary shampoo for pets — or as a primer shampoo prior to a treatment bath.
Directions: Dilute 1 part DermaPure Shampoo to 30 parts water. Apply to wet hair and gently work into lather. Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water (85-90 degrees) for normal skin — Cool water (80-84 degrees) for dry skin — and warm water (91-94 degrees) for pets with oily skin. Never use very warm water (91-98 degrees) on pets exhibiting moderate-severe inflammation. Follow with DermaPure Conditioner. Final rinse should be in cool water.
When used on breeds with oily, shedding coats: First “Card” the coat to remove loose dead hair. Treat oily areas with SuperCoatstm’ VapoClear. Bathe in lukewarm to warm water (85-90 degrees) with DermaPure Shampoo. Several latherings may be necessary. Rinse thoroughly. Follow with DermaRelief Conditioner. Last rinse should be in cool water. For non-shedding breeds with oily coats: Follow above directions, but do NOT “Card” the coat!
Note: Use lukewarm to warm water (85-90 degrees) for puppies and senior dogs.
